Job Description

The hands-on experience at BCW
From corporate work to consumer events and even pure-play digital, BCW offers both fresh graduates and mid-career individuals, the opportunity to try their hands at communications, traditional PR, digital and integrated communications, in an agency setting.

As an AC, you will undergo training to deepen understanding of the communications function. You will be expected to participate proactively in acquiring the necessary knowledge needed to support client servicing teams across various teams/ practices. We’re looking for go-getters who are keen to learn, able to multitask and adapt to/ handle challenging situations in the real business world.

At the end of your 6 to 12-month stint, you will be able to acquire transferable skills including communication skills, multi-tasking skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork, management, problem-solving, and technical skills required for further advancement in the communications industry. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Research – conducting desktop research on the internet and on paid subscription services;
  • Writing – drafting memos and reports on behalf of account teams, minutes in meetings when appropriate;
  • Digital – social media listening, reporting, monitoring, community management, and writing posts for social media channels;
  • On-site support – providing on-the-ground and logistical support at events, meetings, and conferences when necessary;
  • Multi-tasking – able to juggle priorities and work on several projects concurrently at a given time. 

Note: This opportunity is part of the SGUnited Traineeship programme. The offered position is eligible to both recent graduates and mid-career individuals. Graduates interested in this position should possess minimally a Poly Diploma Qualification.
