Break The Wheel – The Surf Scientist a.k.a. Programme Researcher

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Research on topics relevant for youth self-confidence in navigating the ups and downs of life, in the face of uncertainty, failure and social envy.
2. Develop resources for youth on tackling stress and anxiety. This could be in the form of articles, activities, games, and social media content.
3. Test the resources, gather feedback and finetune further.
4. You are also free to propose topics for research and development that are of interest to you, as long as they align with coaching and the growth mindset!

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. To pick up in-depth research and analytical skills.
2. To understand not just what kind of recommendations to make, but how to make them.
3. To learn how to balance the trade-offs between the ideal and the practical.
4. To be exposed to working nimbly in a nonprofit startup.
5. To gain experience in applying a growth mindset and resourcefulness to everyday tasks.
