We’re a nonprofit startup! It’s like being on a new adventure every week. You’ll get to try new things and meet coaches and partners from different backgrounds, so you can explore what will be a good fit for you in future. Through challenging yet safe-to-fail projects, you’ll grow your self-confidence. Do a good job, and we’re more than happy to send you off with a glowing testimonial for your future job applications! We’re a coaching organisation, so your personal growth matters to us.
If you’re keen to learn how a small entity operates despite little resources, this is for you! The operations of a nonprofit are actually no different from that of a for-profit - we still need to develop a solid marketing strategy, automate our internal processes to be more efficient, review our online analytics etc. You’ll work with volunteers and coaches from different backgrounds. Useful if you ever want to freelance or start your own business in future.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a marketing campaign (working with a coach who is a marketing specialist).
Review operational performance metrics and present findings.
Review and test improvements to internal processes such as youth ambassador recruitment, including experimenting with the use of AI.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To sharpen your (left-brain) analytical and operational skills.
To learn how to overcome the many challenges of starting things from scratch instead of giving up at the first sign of failure (i.e. resilience!).
To learn how to harness AI such that it strengthens you, not replaces you.
