Bluesheets.ai – ML Intern – Specialised Language Models (LLM/SLM/MML)

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Machine Learning Intern to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of specialized language models (LLM/SLM) and multimodal models (MML) projects. The intern will work closely with leading industry experts in our machine learning and research teams, gaining hands-on experience in training and fine-tuning large language models.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Model Training: Assist in the training of large language models, including pre-processing and cleaning of datasets, feature engineering, and optimization of model parameters.

2. Research Support: Contribute to ongoing research efforts by staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, natural language processing, and language model architectures.

3. Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the characteristics of datasets and identify potential improvements in model performance.

4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and researchers, to integrate machine learning solutions into our projects.

5. Documentation: Document and communicate the methodologies, experiments, and results clearly and concisely.

6. Model Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation of model performance through various metrics and propose enhancements to achieve better results.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.

• Familiarity with large language models, such as GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) models.

• Programming skills in languages such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) tasks and techniques.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous internship or project experience in machine learning.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).

• Understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing.
