About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and high-performing Marketing and Social Media Intern who bears the following skills and qualities, to join us in growing an independent travel and lifestyle brand:

• experienced in digital marketing and is familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn), planning and producing content, and has a good understanding of the social media landscape with well-developed aesthetic judgment;
• experienced with Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, WordPress, PowerPoint;
• is able to identify and report on the latest industry trends, and assist in new initiatives to increase customer acquisition and engagement;
• consistently able to produce and communicate fresh ideas and concepts to improve audience engagement and impressions;
• is experienced in photography and video production;
• is able to craft newsletters and other digital collaterals such as brochures, posters and more;
• is comfortable with analyzing results and performance data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations;
• can assist in coordinating with partners for strategic marketing campaigns;

Requirements

• has a genuine interest in travel as an industry, so as to be able to craft content that is engaging and to have a sense of what clients might look out for in our journeys;
• has excellent writing and language skills, and is detail-oriented;
• is an efficient project manager who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with tight timelines;
• is self-motivated, resourceful and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment; and
• has a flexible and responsive attitude.
