Beyond Rentals – Installation Technician Intern

Beyond Rentals will be redefining how rentals transactions are done in the construction industry. We are on a journey to help our clients and supplier to be digital and data-driven with the help of our partners in this rental ecosystem. We provide autonomous robotics solutions for service and operational use. 

You will be responsible for

• Perform telematics hardware deployment/installation
• Capturing customer data requirements
• Communication / Network protocols, CAN Bus experience – J1939, ISO 15143-3 AEMP 2.0, MODBUS will be advantageous
• Integration with existing fleet management system
• Specifying, installing and verifying sensors
• Ensuring data quality and reliability

Ideal Candidate

• You possess a degree/diploma in Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical engineering
• Expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation, IoT/ Automation and Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul would be highly valuable
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• Have experience with CAN Bus and Construction Machinery (HEAVY)
