Company Profile

The Company

Bequest was established with the key objective of providing accessible and affordable services of Wealth and Estate Planning in Singapore, such as execution of Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA). We realised there was a gap in the market for integrated Will writing and Wealth planning services that bridge the gap between the financial and legal sectors that are professional, yet accessible and affordable to the everyday person in Singapore.

Helmed by professionals with backgrounds in the legal and finance industries, Bequest is ideally positioned to provide attractively-priced Wealth and Estate Planning services to people from all walks of life.

The Opportunity

Bequest is developing its business consultancy services - succession planning, employee benefits, risk management, internal controls and HR retention and incentive programs.

To penetrate this challenging market, we are looking for dynamic and driven individuals who possess the 3Cs - charisma, confidence and charm - to engage with SME business owners to analyse their business models and highlight inefficiencies and loopholes inherent in their businesses. As an SME Business Analyst Intern with Bequest, you will have the opportunity to develop your network and get to know the movers and shakers in their respective industries, while building up communication skills, business development acumen and learning to identify opportunities to add value.

The Bequest Summer Internship commences in May 2018 and runs till July 2018.

Participants will need to undergo certification and attend intensive training conducted by our in-house lawyers, medical specialists and estate analysts. After the training and certification phase, participants will need to be prepared to engage in hands-on activities: engaging with HNWIs and corporate decision makers, scrutinising financial portfolios and statements and delivering their findings in easy-to-understand reports and presentations. They will also be trained in solution creation and portfolio restructuring and enhancement.

Promising candidates will be shortlisted for a series of interviews. The interviews will take place from January thru to March. Check our website www.bequest.com.sg/internship for more information!

What You Will Learn

  • Estate Planning for HNWIs - Separating the business from the owner / shareholder of the business and how owner / shareholders can create maximum value for themselves and their businesses while ensuring the risks of each do not bleed into the other
