Get to know the Role:
The Data Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Data Science department in developing state of the art products to support the main core business. He/She is aid in analyzing and delivering the data in an appealing way.
The day-to-day activities:
Delivering the data in a useful and appealing way.
Clean up and analyse the quality of unstructured data
Transforming, improving and integrating data, depending on the business requirements;
Visualize large and/or complex data making it more accessible, understandable and usable;
Expected to write Python & SQL code to extract data from various databases, cleanse, consolidate, visualize data and create datasets and demonstrate the data visualization
The role also involve catering to ad hoc reporting & data analysis requests from the Business teams as well as in monitoring the performance of the Predictive Data Models;
Coordinate with data platform product team on data & reporting system related requests
Design, develop, and maintain reports using Python, SQL
Understand business use case of AI model and annotation requirement, analyze and annotate unstructured data
The must have:
Bachelor in Computer Science / Data Analyst or other relevant fields.
Enthusiast to proficient in Python, SQL, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
Familiar with one the NLP tools-suit is a plus point, such as regex, spaCy, nltk, and Stanford NLP tools;
Initiative to familiar the state-of-the-art deep models such as BERT, GTP and beyond;
Experience in some of the following domains: language model / text classification / text clustering / named entity recognition etc.
Initiative to familiar the data analysing tools such as pandas, numpy;
Proactive in building machine learning pipelines
