Job Description

We are looking for People & Culture (HR) intern to assist with the daily operations and get an insight into the functions of a People & Culture Department in an Engineering Consultant company.

Learning Outcome

You will get to learn the full HR spectrum which includes but not limited to administering employment contracts, on-boarding and off-boarding processes and other administrative support.

Job Scope

  • Provide full administrative support to People & Culture Team activities such as preparation of HR documents and letters
  • Update and maintain employee p-files (electronically) – Scan and Upload of HR related documents
  • Leave, timesheet and medical expenses for site staff – Ensure the relevant department received the approved documents and proper record uploaded
  • Administering contract for site staff – Extension or completion of contract
  • Assist in on-boarding and off-boarding processes – Drafting employment contract, arrange for medical examination, work pass application (if needed), ensure on-boarding documents and processes completed, booking of meeting room for new hire induction, preparation of the induction kit, arrange for exit interview, provide relevant exit documents and ensure all exit formalities are being completed
  • Other tasks may be assigned from time to time according to organizational needs.

Pre-Requisites

  • Undergraduate/Diploma students in Human Resources Management/Business or other related field
  • Only Singaporeans/PRs may apply
  • Able to prioritise, multi-tasking, good coordination and meticulous
  • Minimum commitment of 3 months
  • Applicant must be a full-time current student
  • Internship contribute to school requirements is preferred
