BASF South East Asia Pte Ltd – Intern, Plant Operation Excellence & Asset Management (Jurong Island)

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience and exposure at a world-class plastic antioxidants plant on Jurong Island.
• Intern  will work closely with the Asset Management and Quality managers and  actively in contact with operations colleagues and service providers,  whenever necessary.
• Analyze assets, utilization and propose optimization efforts
• Apply data analysis and processing techniques
• Manage complex databases to draw insightful information for business decisions
•  Prepare reports suitable for management presentation

 Requirements

• Possess good communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external partners.
• Willing to undertake several projects with competing priorities.
• Comfortable with using IT collaboration tools and data management software.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Expert in programming and creating reporting dashboards or analytics models with MS Excel is an advantage.
• Enjoys intensive cross-disciplinary interaction in a multinational matrix environment
