Learning Outcomes & Objectives:
- Gain in-depth knowledge on HVAC (chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handling units).
- Gain understanding on how to prepare Operating System Efficiency (OSE) reports.
- Learn documentation of the chiller system optimization design.
- Gain understanding of a variety of energy conservative measures (ECM) on the chilled water system and how to identify, design, and propose them.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify, design, and propose energy conservative measures (ECM) on the chilled water system which include:
- Instrumentations selection and design on the measurements and verifications (M&V) system (temperature sensors, flow meters, pressure sensors, weather stations, power meters)
- Centrifugal water pumps energy optimizations strategy
- Chillers energy optimizations strategy
- Cooling tower energy optimizations strategy
- Heat balance substantiating test
- Operating system efficiency (OSE) report preparation.
- Documentation of the chiller system optimization design.
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Infrastructure Engineering or in similar fields.
