JOB DESCRIPTION
COMMUNICATIONS
Global Editorial Coverage / Media Monitoring
• Track, analyse, review and prepare media clipping reports worldwide to share with all properties on a monthly basis
PR Agency management
• Track and follow-up on monthly PR activity reporting, clipping reports, media visits, media relations, planning and strategy, awards, partnerships
Global Communications
• Conceptualising the communications theme for the year and implement on-going campaigns
Media Relations
• Disseminate, write and vet press releases that come in from PR agencies or hotels to refine/edit contents & English and update corporate documents
• Regional media liaison for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand & Vietnam, manage global media database/contacts, respond to photo enquiries and media requests in PR inbox within 24 hours, arrange media lunches when required
• Organise/Coordinate FAM/Press trips
• Arrange for interviews for senior management and prepare talking points
Awards
• Source, submit, canvass for relevant awards and manage our central awards database
CSR Champion
• Write and disseminate sustainability stories including a monthly newsletter
Workshops
• Arrange monthly PR workshops for group
Partnerships
• Developing relevant partnerships for the group
Administration
• Includes reports, timely payment to vendors/partners
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum a Diploma in Journalism / Public or Media Relations or Marketing Communications
• 2 to 5 years experience in PR and Communications
• Passion for writing
• Good project management and time management skills amidst tight deadlines
• Preferably with good media and partner relations
• Position will be based at Upper Bukit Timah Road
