At Bandwagon, we are on the lookout for writers who are passionate about both international and local music and open to all genres. include reporting concert announcements in a swift and accurate manner, feature interviews with local, regional and/or international artists, and keeping readers up to date with what’s happening in the music space in Asia through guides and updates.
Job Description
The intern should be well-connected with local and regional music news, fast, and accurate in writing. Many of our best performing articles were a result of being the first to publish it.
The intern will be working with the team on the following:
- Create a variety of content including news pieces, listicles, features and more for Bandwagon and Hear65 (www.hear65.com)
- Write and publish daily content and news
- Craft questions for interviews and conduct interviews
- Contribute to an editorial calendar
- Create longer form editorial pieces (e.g. op-eds and lists)
- Come up with and execute editorial concepts
- Work on client advertorials
- Achieve editorial targets with the team
