About the role

We are seeking a Finance Intern with a strong focus on Accounting or Finance to join our dynamic team. As an Finance Intern you will be working closely with the Finance team and play a part in the Finance function of Igloo.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Assist the finance team on part or all of the finance related matters as follows:

  • Issue invoices to partners/clients and follow up with collections

  • Process supplier payments (including verifying invoices internally, reconciling with suppliers, recording in accounting system, submitting to bank and post-approval follow-up)

  • Process claims to customers

  • Verify and process staff expense claims

  • Issue debit notes to related entities, and reconcile intercompany transactions

  • Bank reconciliation, journal entries booking, balance sheet schedules update and month-end closing

  • Update cash flow reports and assist on cash flow planning

  • Manage company assets and inventories

  • Bank, secretarial, tax and audit matters

  • Any ad hoc tasks and administrative matters as required


Job Requirements

  • Pursuing major in accountancy or related field

  • Good with Microsoft Software, especially Excel

  • Self-starter, detail oriented, strong sense of responsibility

  • Competent in verbal and written communication

  • Good interpersonal skills and good team player
