AtomBrush is an Entrepreneur First backed Construction Robotics startup. With our patent-pending tech, we are building Swarm Robots from the ground up, which can talk to each other and solve for shortage of skilled workers & low productivity in construction.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone planning a career in Robotic Engineering with a special focus on Robot Design & Mechanics!
The interns will be working closely with the founding team & can expect to learn all facets of hardware development - from understanding client requirements to rapid prototyping to deployment at client locations. They will leave this position with invaluable skills & industry knowledge (apart from an impressive entry in your CV of course!)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate designs, modify and validate functionality
- Develop efficient motion systems & mechanisms for mobile robots
- Create novel designs from concept till PoW
- Handle end-to-end responsibility from CAD models to prototyping of components using in-house as well as external facilities
- Design and build functional robot prototypes
- Management and procurement of inventory
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical & Design
- Proven expertise on design of mechanisms(robot links, motion systems, actuators etc.)
- Ability to conduct independent research and development
- Following skills will be considered a bonus:
- Knowledge of CAD, Fusion 360 or similar
- Prior Experience in Prototyping / 3D printing
