Job Description

**1. Front Desk Management:**

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Manage the front desk, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.

**2. Administrative Support:**

- Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining patient records, filing, and managing documentation.

- Coordinate and confirm patient appointments and send appointment reminders.

**3. Patient Assistance:**

- Assist patients with intake forms and provide necessary information regarding clinic procedures.

- Collect patient payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.

**4. Billing and Insurance:**

- Verify insurance information and communicate with insurance providers on behalf of patients.

- Process insurance claims and assist patients with billing inquiries.

**5. Clinic Maintenance:**

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

- Ensure the waiting room is comfortable and welcoming for patients.

**6. Team Collaboration:**

- Collaborate with clinic staff, including physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, to facilitate efficient patient care.

**7. Privacy and Security:**

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to clinic privacy policies.

- Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and take appropriate action in case of emergencies.

 

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or medical office training is a plus.

- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a healthcare setting is preferred.

- Proficient in using office equipment and scheduling software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and coding is an advantage.

- A professional appearance and demeanor.

- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain patient confidentiality.
