Astignes Capital Asia Pte. Ltd. – Hegde Fund Quantitative Development Intern

This 3-6 month internship offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a dynamic investment team, and gain exposure to rigorous analytical approaches to the investment process. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• 3-6 month internship for Summer 2020. Targeting May 2020 start, but flexible.
• Work under the direction of the Investment and Risk Management teams to develop portfolio management and risk analysis tools
• Work closely with the Quantitative Development team to leverage existing systems to enhance/improve the existing investment and risk toolkit 

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in statistics, econometrics, mathematics or related quant field
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial derivatives and exchange products
• Strong coding skills, including demonstrated ability in Python, R and working with databases
• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Angular or React is a positive.
• Intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest to solve analytical challenges
• A sharp eye for numerical accuracy and consistency
• Good communication skills in English and ability to present complex analysis clearly
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams

Open to undergraduate or graduate / PhD program candidates. Must have ability to legally work at an internship in Singapore.
