Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, posting invoices, receipts and payments.
- Perform bank, inter-company and other general ledgers reconciliations.
- Prepare detailed balance sheet and accounting schedules.
- Locate, verify and follow-ups on necessary supporting documents.
- Perform daily / monthly routine tasks: such as recording and posting of data entries, documents filing, photocopying and scanning of supporting documents.
- Organize supporting documents folders on the shared drives.
- Perform collaboration with team members to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple accounting assignment activities.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma in Accountancy from a Local institution/Polytechnic.
- Able to take instructions from the immediate superior.
- Solid foundation of accounting principal knowledge.
- Positive mindset and working attitude.
- Polite, respectful, dynamic, highly responsible individual, teachable and willing to do attitude.
- Highly skilled at Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications
- Meticulous, good working attitude and fast worker.
- Strong organization skills and capable of managing priorities effectively.
- Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken is required), other language would be an advantage.
