Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association Ltd – Intern, Strategic Projects

The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) represents manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices and in-vitro diagnostics, industry associations and other key stakeholders associated with the medical technology industry in Asia Pacific. Our mission is to improve the standards of care for patients through innovative collaborations among stakeholders to jointly shape the future of healthcare in Asia Pacific.

Job description 

• To support the Strategic Projects team with undertaking key initiatives.
• Activities will include conducting research (primary and secondary), liaising with key stakeholders, creation and execution of business plans, and presentations.
• Example #1 of known 2023 strategic projects include the Start-up Committee, specifically in terms of planning and execution of workshops, data analysis, stakeholder meetings, and investment forum facilitation.
• Example #2 pertains to the MedTech Forum annual conference, specifically in terms of speaker identification and outreach, content development, marketing campaigns, and, ultimately, facilitation and follow-up of the event.
• Other strategic projects to be identified and aligned during the internship.
• You will also be part of the core team for weekly meetings and strategic planning.

Pre-requisites 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Independent thinker and worker, who also works well within teams
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Organised, efficient and detail-oriented
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry would be advantageous
