The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) represents manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices and in-vitro diagnostics, industry associations and other key stakeholders associated with the medical technology industry in Asia Pacific. As a trade association, our mission is to improve the standards of care for patients through innovative collaborations among stakeholders to jointly shape the future of healthcare in Asia Pacific.

As a Communications Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communications team in various tasks related to internal and external communications. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content development, managing digital platforms, and contributing to communication strategies that align with our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and well-crafted content for various communication channels
• Digital Media Management: Help manage our organization's digital presence by updating website content, monitoring social media platforms, and tracking online engagement.
• Social Media Marketing: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement social media strategies
• Internal Communications: Internal communications with teams to collate and manage communication materials.
• Market Research & media monitoring: Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor communications strategies.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, media, business or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and familiarity with digital communication tools.
• Agile, fast learner, with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
