Programme Title :

Corporate Affairs Intern

Programme Scope:

Play a key role in internal and external communications programmes to build corporate and brand reputation to various audiences such as consumers, customers, trade, employees and the general public. The Corporate Affairs Intern will assist the in-house CA team to:

  • Develop appropriate materials  for communications programmes
  • Contribute in public affairs and sustainability programmes
  • Research as part of planning for CA campaigns
  • Support in department events where necessary

Prerequisites:

  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • An analytical mind and a keen eye for detail
  • Creativity in coming up with alternative and interesting new approaches or news angles
  • Proactive, resourceful and efficient, able to turn work around within tight timelines
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar programmes is a plus

Learning Outcome:

The Corporate Affairs Intern will be given an opportunity to experience first-hand what it is like to be part of an in-house corporate affairs team, obtain working knowledge on internal and external communications, sustainability and stakeholder engagement. In his day-to-day work, he will pick up skills required of a communicator, including identifying and using appropriate media platforms to further corporate agenda and being constantly on the lookout for interesting content to pique the interest of various target audiences.
