ARQ Cap Pte Ltd – Junior IT Engineer

ARQ Cap Pte Ltd was established in 2018 to provide research and trading solutions for brokers, we have grown from strength to strength over the last three years and expanded our scope of services in the financial brokerage industry.

As a Junior IT Engineer, you will be:

• Responsible for desktop support for installation and configuration of company specific software
• Managing documentation of IT processes and procedures
• Supporting and troubleshooting existing solutions
• Ensuring that deployed software and services are up to date and secure
• Working closely with the Operations Team and Project Managers to deliver solutions
• Learning about and putting into practice security measures at user and service levels
• Reporting to the Head of IT and shadowing him in day to day operations

As a Junior IT Engineer it would help for you to:

• Be an independent learner and problem solver
• Understand coding logic and be familiar with at least one programming language
• Be skilled in the art of Google-fu and stackexchange
• Have qualifications in IT related degrees or certifications
• Understand basic networking (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and web application deployment
• Have an understanding or experience with Linux and/or Windows servers
• Have an understanding or experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes or other containerization technology
• Be willing to learn on the job, make mistakes and try things you have never done before
• Have an interest in the financial or trading/brokerage industry
