Job Description
GASP JD for internship (Goods and Services Purchasing)
- Sourcing and prequalification of potential suppliers in line with specification/Request For Quotation (RFQ) for non-industrial projects ( eg car leasing, Insurance, PPE, Recruitment services and etc)
- Receive quotations and ensure the quote is in line with technical/commercial specifications and send to the technical team or requestor for confirmation. Liaison skills with other departments and negotiation skills will be involved for quotation revisions. Produce CBE as final summary of negotiated rates and services.
- Presentation of proposed vendor to manager/others in management or cross department in-charge.
- Assist in PR conversion of Purchase order.
- Daily and monthly up-keeping of standard purchasing reports.
- Usage of Savings Declaration Tool to update savings negotiated by purchasing.
- Draft MOM for Regional and Internal meetings on ad-hoc basis.
- Draft MOM for meetings with vendors/suppliers.
