Allies Of Skin – Editorial and Social Media Intern

Allies of Skin is looking for an Editorial and Social Media Intern who will be responsible for assisting the Managing Editor in the day-to-day operations of the brand's social and digital channels by:

- Assisting in producing visuals ranging from lifestyle product sittings, infographics and other supporting visual assets
- Coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy across key social media channels such as Instagram
- Providing support with press inquiries and other communications-related duties
- Participate in daily conversations with consumers on social media and digital channels
- Writing copy for various digital channels
- Transcription of interviews, fact-checking and assisting with research on stories
- Upload and manage blog posts in WordPress
- Providing ad-hoc support with other operational functions of the company, as and when required

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short and long copy
- Familiarity with key social media tools (eg. Instagram, Facebook) and with visual editing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- An interest in marketing, communications, and social media
- A passion for beauty, skincare, and lifestyle
- Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and a resilient attitude towards challenges
- The ability to prioritise work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times and minimal fuss
- The ability to work collaboratively with a team

Length of Engagement: Minimum 3 months, Monday-Friday.
