Allied World Asia – Partnerships Intern

Allied World Asia is a non-profit social enterprise working to bring universal basic healthcare services to users in low-access, developing regions.

To do this, we are:

• Building a local delivery community who donate time and assets, to manage costs sustainably and create a global team of organisations to tackle healthcare inequality;
• Creating a healthcare platform that is free at the point of use, providing information, education, self-management options and digital appointments, alongside clinician tools to support them;
• Creating a community access model to enable non-digital access (call centres, computers in schools, employing points of contact in villages etc);
• Delivering a support package for local healthcare providers, giving training and support in partnership with the UK NHS;
• Financing our operations by sharing insights with a broad array of healthcare organisations, distributing basic medication through our community access service and offering affordable health insurance to underserved citizens.
