AkzoNobel International Paint Singapore – Marketing Projects Assistant

AkzoNobel International Brand seeks a self- starter and potential leader who can lead 2 marketing projects for our business. The focus of the position will be on managing and maintaining a business integral marketing system. On top the candidate will get an opportunity to analyze and report market research to company directors. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for well-known multinational company.

This internship will allow the candidate to bring their classroom skills into a professional work setting and broaden their knowledge through hands-on application. This will also include interacting with people from several layers of senior management as well on the job training of how to lead projects.

Responsibilities:

Project 1

• Lead business integral marketing system

• Manage system related issues regarding the marketing system

• Be the connect between the sales team and IT service team

  Project 2

• Analyze market research data for certain segments

• Report the market research data to the directors and segment managers

• Attend global calls with different departments

• Collaborating with team for new ideas to how to improve the system and management reporting

  Qualifications:

• Completed or working towards a degree in preferably in engineering field or marketing field

• Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Suite) and has an interest in playing with computer systems and excel

• Good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

• Open to learning new skills and work with new cultures

Ideal candidate is an undergraduate/graduate student engineering or marketing field interested to convert his/her internship to future job opportunities or learn how to manage global projects for multi-nationals. Ideal candidates will possess a professional work ethic
