Founded in Singapore in 2004, Akribis Systems is a motion control company that provides high precision direct drive motors. We construct products for a range of industries including renewable energy, semiconductor, communication, biomedical, robotics or any industry that requires precise motion.

We produce direct drive motors with a high force density and patented coil design that decreases cogging. Our linear and rotary motors also are available with stages that we manufacture ourselves so you can smoothly integrate the motor into your design.

More than simply a manufacturer, we are also innovators. Our deep knowledge of engineering and dedication to the work has resulted in 44 patents, and our research and development into the field of magnetics will only continue to grow our business. Our engineers are able to custom design motors and stages to your specific requirements with you as a co-developer.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief HR Officer (CHRO), we are looking for a group compensation and benefits specialist to plan and oversee our company's compensation and benefits programs. You will be responsible for reviewing and modifying existing programs, ensuring these comply with current legislation, supporting the recruitment process, and managing day-to-day compensation and benefits-related activities in Singapore. You will also be working closely with the team in China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Israel, US and Germany and serve as a subject expert to the countries.

To be successful as a group compensation and benefits specialist, you should be able to develop competitive and cost-efficient programs that will assist with employee retention and attract top talent that is align to the company strategy. A good candidate should have extensive experience leading compensation and benefits programs, along with excellent decision-making skills and ability to .

Your scope will include the following but not limited to:

  • Evaluating and reviewing the existing group compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures with a focus in Singapore and ensure that these are aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Designing, developing and implementing new compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation.
  • Participate in benefit benchmarking exercise and analysis of market trends. Managing relations with external survey vendors.
  • Managing the full cycle of performance appraisal process, annual and bonus review of the company.
  • Supporting the HR team with recruitment and talent management activities.
  • Developing profit-sharing, incentive, employee wellness, and performance management programs.
  • Preparing budgets, reports, and presentations.
  • Support change management processes

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience as a compensation and benefits specialist.
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. Experience managing executive benefits and compensation program is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (excel).
  • Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
  • Self-motivated and resilience, able to work under own autonomy and fast-paced setup.

Skill Requirements

  • Required Knowledge: Key Employment-related/Labour laws and regulations.
  • Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office Suites and outstanding knowledge in major leading survey consultants, i.e., Mercer, WTW & etc
  • Ability to manage a wide range of comp structure, from junior to senior comp and benefits.
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders.
