AHA Capital is an emerging independent asset manager focused on managing risk premia strategies for private individuals and institutions. Based in Singapore, the firm is building a team of derivatives professionals to help build and scale a platform of volatility risk premia based strategies across the private and institutional space. We are seeking individuals capable of wide reaching responsibilities with a primary focus on developing, researching, building and managing equity volatility strategies, whilst also getting involved with the operational side of building and scaling an exciting new business.

Job Description

Job title: Technology Developer (Interns/New Graduates) 

The Developer’s role is wide reaching and will combine elements of strategic technology architecture design and implementation across key systems, spanning derivatives trading, risk analytics, and operational backbone. The successful candidate will develop and maintain systems across the firm, balancing robust end-to-end integration with delivery of timely analytics. The individual will work directly with the portfolio managers as part of a small team. 

Responsibilities Include: 

- Provide input into firmwide strategic infrastructure design 

- Develop, implement and optimize data models and associated analytics 

- Develop key trading systems and associated risk analytics working directly with Portfolio Managers - Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes 

- Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs

- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation 

Candidate Requirements: 

- Proficiency in C#/Java, VBA, SQL (must be an expert, ready to add value on day one) 

- Recognized Degree in Computer Science/Software engineering or equivalent 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
