Our client is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation and logistics companies 

Sales Executive (Freight) / Up to $4.5k

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new business and secure new customers through sales leads and client meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions to enquiries and complaints.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activities.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
• Manage customer portfolios and prepare regular sales and performance reports.
• Track inbound/outbound targets and container utilisation.
• Prepare presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Attend sales meetings and complete all sales-related administrative duties.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or carrier lines is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Proactive, target-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driving licence with own transportation and good driving record.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Sales Executive.
