Finance Intern
An intern working in the field of finance helps in the development and implementation of policies and practices for financial management and accounting. By getting hands-on experience by working under the finance manager or senior account executive, he/she is able to understand and follow financial trends. He/She can practically apply his/her theoretical knowledge of financial laws, government policies in his/her day-to-day work.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement and adhere to the company's or organisation's financial procedures and policies
• Process vendor invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims, vendor setup and bank reconciliations
• Proactive management of account payables transactions and possess high level of service quality
• Complete administrative tasks, such as filling out paperwork and filing records
Skills and Specifications
• Possess knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis
• Should have good written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and creative
• Team player and yet able to work independently
