ActSEA (Action for Change in Southeast Asia) – Programs Intern

ActSEA contributes to an equitable and sustainable Southeast Asia by nurturing leaders who are empowered to effect change and amplify impact. 

ActSEA is sector agnostic. Our path is driven by the aspiration and needs of the communities we work with. Thus, we have worked on different areas (public health, environment, livelihoods, education, gender, disaster response) and utilised different approaches (community development, behaviour change, research, advocacy, research, capacity building).

1. Carry out desk research on social and environmental issues in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the region.

2. Design and plan initiatives, including objectives (theory of change), action plans, and materials. 

3. Support implementation, including conducting project activities, as well as recruiting and engaging with participants, volunteers, and partners.

4. Evaluate project results by designing frameworks and tools, collecting and analysing data, as well as preparing reports and presentations.

5. Provide general project management support, including monitoring timelines, maintaining organised records, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.

6. Map, develop, and streamline processes and policies to increase the impact, effectiveness, and efficiency of ActSEA’s projects.
