Position Title: Key Accounts Representative – Sports & MedicalDepartment
Sales & Marketing Reports To :General Manager
Role Purpose
The Key Accounts Representative is responsible for managing and developing strategic sports and medical accounts to drive business growth, strengthen relationships, and ensure client satisfaction. This role requires strong digital capabilities to manage the company’s B2B portal, conduct webinars, and engage Key Accounts . The incumbent will act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring account objectives are achieved in alignment with company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development
- Manage and grow assigned sports and medical accounts, ensuring achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships with purchasing managers, medical professionals, and sports partners.
- Develop annual account plans, including sales forecasts, promotional activities, and engagement strategies.
- Ensure timely follow-up on client needs, inquiries, and issue resolution.
Digital Engagement & B2B Portal Management
- Administer and promote usage of the company’s B2B portal for order management, product information, and account servicing.
- Monitor portal activity and ensure clients are trained and supported in using the platform.
- Analyze customer data from the portal to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Drive adoption of digital engagement tools to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Events, Webinars & KOL Engagement
- Organize, execute, and evaluate webinars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events targeted at sports and medical clients.
- Identify, onboard, and manage Key Accounts for educational and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and medical affairs to align events with strategic business objectives.
- Measure effectiveness of events against ROI and customer engagement metrics.
Collaboration & Internal Alignment
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Medical Affairs) to deliver account objectives.
- Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and account performance reports.
- Monitor competitor activity and market developments in the sports and medical industries.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achievement of assigned sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Year-on-year growth of sports and medical accounts.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Retention and satisfaction levels of key accounts (measured via feedback or NPS).
- Increase in share-of-wallet within existing accounts.
- Digital Engagement
- B2B portal adoption and utilization rate by clients.
- Accuracy and timeliness of digital order processing.
- Events & Key Accounts
- Number of webinars, workshops, and events successfully executed.
- Engagement metrics (attendance, post-event feedback, lead generation).
- Number of active engagements and their contribution to brand initiatives.
- Operational Excellence
- Timeliness and accuracy of account reporting.
- Compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-functional collaboration effectiveness.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in key account management, preferably in healthcare, sports, or medical industries.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing client relationships.
- Experience with B2B portals, CRM platforms, and digital engagement tools.
- Prior experience in organizing professional events and managing Key accounts preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
