Job Description

Intern will be trained to part of the maintenance team and will be guided on the following;

  • Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective and breakdown maintenance servicing for plant equipment (MEICA) as per the contract service schedule and plant operation
  • Carry out adhoc servicing for plant equipment, Air Compressor, Air Blower, Pump, Valves, Penstock, Screen, Lifting devices and all other plant equipment
  • Service Machinery Mechanisms, Bearing, Gear and Lubrication System.
  • Modifying, Design, Re-installation of Engineering work
  • Efficient Communication with clients and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare & submission of maintenance schedule, monthly service report, service checklist and fault analysis report
  • Conduct toolbox meeting, safety briefing on daily basis and record them accordingly
  • Lead the team and distribute the maintenance works to restrictive technician
  • Ensure completion of schedule work on time with the report
  • Respond to customer call and request immediate manner. Activate the team and arrange for any emergency breakdown work
  • Handle chemical cleaning, rectifying RO & UF membrane
  • Prepare, drafting RA, MS and SWP for all maintenance activities where required
  • Handle purchasing of items, parts and equipment, Sourcing and get quotations within contract budget
  • Prepare Purchase requisition, maintaining PR & PO record and update
  • Prepare project costing and budget
  • To ensure all safety measures are in place for all the technicians and workers.
  • Planning for the preventive maintenance and arrange the breakdown maintenance efficiently and on time.
  • Handle the site incident & accident reports
  • Perform any other duties as may be requested by Project Manager
  • Managing and supervising the execution of punch list to ensure timely completion
  • Complying with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and Compliance with all audits and inspections

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or completed NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant engineering fields
  • Entry levels are welcome
