Job Description

Job Scope

As a Business Intern at Abba Maintenance Services Pte Ltd, you will support our dynamic home and commercial cleaning business units through business research, strategic analysis, and project execution. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual who is eager to contribute to real-world business challenges, from implementing AI-driven solutions to enhancing operational and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Research & Analysis
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis for both residential and commercial cleaning sectors
    • Identify industry trends, growth opportunities, and operational gaps
    • Support the development of strategic initiatives and growth campaigns, including Gen AI pilots
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, sales and customer service teams to execute business improvement projects
    • Track progress and coordinate resources for strategic initiatives with measurable impact
    • Present findings and actionable recommendations to the management team
  • Technology & Process Innovation
    • Explore, evaluate, and implement AI tools and business automation platforms to streamline internal processes
    • Support the adoption of digital solutions in workforce scheduling, customer service, and performance tracking
  • Human Resource Support
    • Assist in reviewing and enhancing HR processes and productivity tools

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curious mindset with a keen interest in innovation, digital transformation, and the cleaning services industry
  • Familiarity with business tools (e.g., Excel, Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable); knowledge of AI tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
