A Pod Production – Social Media & Content Creator

We are looking for a highly creative and self-motivated junior social media manager and content creator with strong multimedia skills, including basic filming and editing skills, to join our team for a new viral news, entertainment and lifestyle channel. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and innovative content across a variety of mediums, including written and visual formats.In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media channels and creating and editing engaging and viral video content for a variety of platforms, including TikTok and Instagram. You will work closely with a team of contributors to generate ideas for new video content and implement those ideas using a range of multimedia tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage our social media channels and engage with our audience
• Generate fresh and engaging viral ideas for new video content
• Create and edit high-quality videos for a variety of platforms, including TikTok and Instagram
• Collaborate with the contributors to develop and implement ideas
• Use a range of multimedia tools and techniques to create engaging video content
• Manage own time effectively in order to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Strong creative and imaginative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in basic filming, editing and graphic design
• Experience creating content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
• Experience managing social media channels and engaging with audiences
• Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively
• A passion for creating engaging and innovative short form video content
