Central to what we offer our Members is our diverse wine list, showcasing the lesser-known to the most iconic. This list has been crafted to excite, challenge and captivate our Members. Disappointment at being unable to enjoy fine wine at sensible prices is what originally moved us to found 67 Pall Mall. Unlike most wine lists, ours works on the basis of a small cash mark-up, rather than a multiple of the cost price.
The global Clubs allow Members to share their interest in the world’s finest wines with like-minded people. Our aim is to entice Members to pull the cork and discover a new wine, complemented by a seasonal menu embracing culinary influences from all over the world.
The Singapore Club - 67 Pall Mall's first Asian outpost
Having thrown open both Club and cellar door on February 14th 2022, following a multi-million dollar refurbishment, 67 Pall Mall Singapore welcomes Members into the Club’s spectacular 15,000 sq ft Shaw Centre penthouse in the heart of Orchard Road.
Membership to the Club allows access to a collection of 5,000 wines, of which 1,000 are available by the glass – the biggest and most diverse wine list in Southeast Asia. Not only are the world’s finest and rarest wines within reach, but the underlying premise of the Club is to also make wine more affordable. True to the ethos adopted since our beginnings in London, 67 Pall Mall allows unprecedented access to fine wines that excite, challenge and captivate Members.
EVENTS ASSISTANT (6 MONTHS INTERNSHIP)
Tertiary/Polytechnic, fresh graduate students welcome to apply. Legal age 18 due to alcohol policy. Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only. Kindly note that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Role
- Events Assistant, reporting to Head of Events
- Background in Events, Entertainment, Marketing or Hospitality
- Excellent communication skills, preferably bilingual in English and Mandarin
- Outstanding attention to details and well organised
- Willing to learn and develop new skill sets
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Somebody who enjoys food and wine!
Job Description
- Support day to day operational duties under the Events Department
- Develop event management skills and outstanding customer service
- Assist Events Department to coordinate all club events and member events
- Assist with events administration
- To develop knowledge of food, wine and service skills
- To develop problem solving and service recovery skills
- To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
- Helping in any area of the club when circumstances dictate as directed by Head of Events
