2x Digital Pte Ltd – Marketing Intern (Video & Paid Ads)

2x Digital is a Singapore marketing agency running Meta ads for service businesses. Realtors, gyms, tuition centres, clinics and more. We handle 25+ client accounts and manage a six-figure monthly ad budget on their behalf.

We're a small marketing agency in Singapore, and we're looking for one intern to train up.

I'm Edmund Chew, and I run 2x Digital. We handle Meta ads for 25+ service businesses here... realtors, gyms, tuition centres, clinics. Over the last 30 days our accounts spent $128,634 of client money, and every dollar of it has to come back as a booked lead, or the client leaves.

You'd be working with me directly rather than reporting to a manager.

I'll be honest about why I'm hiring. I've been the bottleneck in my own business for a while, and I'd rather teach one person properly over time than keep trying to do all of it myself.

WHAT YOU'D ACTUALLY BE DOING

Coming along to client shoots and holding the camera. Real business owners, real shoots, around Singapore.

Learning to take two hours of messy footage and find the 60 seconds that sells.

Writing hooks, and then seeing the actual cost per lead your hook produced. That loop is where you really learn this.

Sitting with me while I go through live ad accounts and work out what to switch off and where to put more money.

WHAT YOU'D KNOW AFTER SIX MONTHS

How to shoot a talking head ad on a phone, with no crew, that converts.

How to write a hook that lands in the first five seconds.

How to read an ad account... cost per lead, cost per click, CPM, and which of those tells you the truth earliest.

How to sit in front of a client and explain why their ads aren't working yet.

How to use AI properly for this kind of work.

You'd finish with a portfolio of ads that ran with real budget behind them, and the numbers they produced.

WHO I THINK WOULD DO WELL HERE

You're in Singapore and you can travel to shoots.

You've shot and edited something before. A school project, a TikTok, a friend's wedding. I care that you've held a camera. What you studied matters less to me.

You've held a part time job before, F&B or retail or anything with shifts. If you've done that, you already know how to show up on time and stay pleasant with people when you're tired. Honestly that tells me more than a marketing module does.

You're looking to grow with one company over a few years. I'm hiring slowly because I want to keep whoever I train.

You can take feedback. I give quite a lot of it, and it's always about the work.

THE DEAL

$1,000 a month, three days a week, six months.

Hours are flexible. I stop between 5 and 9pm for family, and I don't expect you around then either.

If it goes well, there's a full time role at the end. That's the plan, and it's why I'm being careful about who I take on.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Your CV. Rough is fine, it doesn't need to be polished.

2. A short video, under 60 seconds, shot on your phone. Tell me one thing you'd change about any ad you've seen this week, and why. Shoot it yourself and just talk normally. That video is the first thing I'll look at.
