21 United Holdings Pte Ltd – Talent (Video Presenter)

We are looking for a Talent to act as the public face and/or voice for UCARS, Singapore’s fastest growing car marketplace! In essence, you will be held responsible for being the centre point for our programmes, keeping it flowing at an appropriate pace, interviewing experts from the automotive industry, reviewing cars in the market and relaying information through clearly articulated verbal language.

Core Responsibilities | As a Talent, you will:

• Act as the host, interview experts from the automotive industry and/or review cars in the market.
• Coordinate with the Content & Social Media Marketing team in creating a visual representation of the work UCARS performs in the automotive industry.
• Deliver information to the audience in a manner appropriate to the programme.
• Following detailed instructions from the production team in order to keep everything to plan whilst on air.
• Read from auto-cues, learn a script or perform without formal preparation at times.
• Work according to the image, manner and tone dictated by the producer of the programme.
• Join editorial personnel for media events (i.e. Product Launches, Press Conferences, Test Drives) with the objective of creating engaging video content.
• Live Streaming: You will support the team in hosting live streams for clients. You may be required to work flexible working hours/days, should it be scheduled during off-work hours or weekends.

Job Specifications | Requirements:

• Ability to steer well-constructed and civil conversations.
• Excellent command of the English Language, Mandarin is a bonus.
• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Arts, Creative Media Production, Digital Filming, English Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication or relevant field.
• Proven track record with at least 1 years’ experience of related work experience.
• Be disciplined and responsible to turn up for shoots in a timely manner.
• Motivated to work quickly and efficiently while paying attention to detail.
• Possess a positive attitude with the desire to constantly challenge yourself.
• Respond positively and quickly to problems or changes, and improvise where necessary.
• Self-motivated, passionate and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Have a well groomed appearance, articulate speech patterns and create a persona that resonates with audiences.
• You will have a public image to maintain and, as a result, must be prepared for some loss of privacy.
• Sound knowledge of the automotive industry in Singapore.
• Must have a valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving license with minimum 1 year experience.
• Willing to travel and work outside regular hours (i.e. Weekends and Public Holidays) if required due to special circumstances.
