1880 is a members' club in Singapore that is interested in inspiring conversations that change the world. We bring together an eclectic mix of individuals who share one common characteristic the desire to think, do, and live differently.
The 1880 experience is about creating catalytic moments that stimulate both the intellect and the senses. Combining a social club, co-working space, and an evolving calendar of events including discussions, parties, wine dinners, wellness sessions, corporate launches, conferences, and concerts, we allow conversations and connections to ripple through.
SOCIAL MEDIA & COPYWRITER
As part of our small-ish creative team, you will manage the 1880 social media by introducing content spanning geopolitics, social issues, trends, art, food and drink, design, and member spotlight, and build up a library of videos, photos, and write-ups.
If you have 2 years’ experience within a similar role and are excited about growing the 1880 brand through words, photos, and reels, read on.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Intuitively notices the unimportant and important details. You must also like the Oxford comma.
- Is curious, takes initiative, and has an interest in international current affairs, F&B, and lifestyle.
- Is flexible with working on occasional evenings and weekends, as you’ll be interacting with our Event, Kitchen, Bar, and Front of House teams.
- Video and podcasting skills – that’s a plus.
