Front-End Development Intern

#The Role

Nested Technologies is looking for a Front-End Development Intern to help design and build responsive, intuitive interfaces for web and mobile applications.

You will work closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to turn ideas and designs into polished user experiences using modern frontend technologies.

This is a hands-on role for someone who cares about how software looks, feels, and performs.

#What You'll Do

Frontend Development

- Build responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React

- Develop reusable components and maintain clean, structured frontend code

- Translate designs and product requirements into functional user interfaces

- Contribute to mobile or cross-platform development using React Native where relevant

User Experience & Interface Quality

- Help define page structure, layout, and interaction patterns

- Ensure usability and user experience inform implementation decisions

- Improve responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

- Refine interfaces based on feedback, testing, and real usage

Performance & Testing

- Optimise frontend performance, loading speed, and responsiveness

- Test and debug interfaces across browsers and devices

- Identify and resolve visual, functional, and usability issues

- Support QA and production releases

Product Collaboration

- Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product stakeholders

- Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services

- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and product iteration

- Contribute ideas for improving usability, interaction, and overall product experience

#What We're Looking For

- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Familiarity with React or another modern frontend framework

- Good visual judgement and attention to detail

- Understanding of responsive design and modern web development principles

- Able to debug issues systematically and learn new technologies quickly

- Curious, practical, and willing to take ownership of assigned features

Experience with React Native, Bootstrap, Git, REST APIs, AWS, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies is an advantage.

Students and recent graduates from Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Media, Interactive Media, or related disciplines are welcome to apply.

#Compensation
