Company Profile

Ladder Internships is a company that connects university students with remote internships at high growth startups and companies around the world. The focus is on giving students real work experience on meaningful projects, not just coffee runs, so they can build skills and a portfolio while studying. The program partners with founders and hiring managers directly and places students into roles across product, marketing, engineering, design and operations. Because everything is remote, students can take on internships alongside classes from anywhere.

The Student Ambassador role, managed by TIG, is about bringing Ladder Internships to your campus and network. As an ambassador you will be the face of the program at your university and in your communities. That means sharing information about open internship roles, hosting info sessions or small meetups, posting on social channels and group chats, and talking 1 to 1 with friends and peers who could benefit. You will work with the Ladder team to get marketing materials, referral links and updates on new companies joining the platform. The goal is to help more students discover and apply to quality remote internships while building your own experience in marketing, community building and partnerships.

In terms of compensation, ambassadors receive a base stipend for the semester, plus 300 USD for every successful referral. A successful referral means a student from your network applies through your link and gets placed into a Ladder Internship. This makes it a good fit if you are well connected, enjoy helping people find opportunities, and want to earn while developing skills in outreach and growth.

Job Description

Ladder Internships Student Ambassador

Ladder Internships connects university students with remote internships at high growth startups and companies worldwide. Our mission is to make real, portfolio building work experience accessible to students no matter where they study. We partner directly with founders and hiring managers to place students into roles across product, marketing, engineering, design and operations.

As a Student Ambassador affiliated with the Ladder Internships partner TIG, you will be the main point of contact for Ladder Internships on your campus and in your networks. You will help more students discover remote internship opportunities and help our partner companies find great talent.

What you will do:

Promote Ladder Internships to students through campus groups, clubs, social media, newsletters, and 1 to 1 conversations.

Organize and host info sessions, tabling events, or casual meetups to share how the program works.

Share curated internship roles and application updates with your community using your unique referral link.

Gather feedback from students and peers and pass insights back to the Ladder team to improve outreach.

Collaborate with the Ladder team on campaigns, content, and marketing materials each semester.

What we offer:

Base stipend for the semester.

300 USD for every successful referral. A successful referral is a student who applies through your link and is placed into a Ladder Internship.

Early access to internship roles, networking with founders, and experience in growth and community building.

Who you are:

Currently enrolled in a junior college or university program.

Well connected on campus and active in student communities or online groups.

Comfortable speaking about career opportunities and comfortable posting and messaging peers.

Self motivated, reliable, and able to follow through on small campaigns and deadlines.

How to apply:

Please send your resume and a cover letter to INTERNSG with the subject line Student Ambassador Application plus your university name. In your cover letter, tell us about your campus involvement, how you would promote Ladder Internships, and any relevant outreach or leadership experience. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
