Royal Albatross – Social Media Content Creator

Royal Albatross is one of Singapore’s most unique lifestyle and tourism experiences — and definitely not your typical office environment. 

Our iconic 4-masted luxury tall ship is based at Resorts World Sentosa, where we create memorable experiences ranging from sunset dinner cruises and island adventures to weddings, private events, dining experiences and even dog-friendly cruises!

And we don’t just stay onboard. Our growing experiences take us around Singapore’s Southern Islands with speedboats, island hopping, dining at anchor and plenty of opportunities for great content.

Think sunsets, the sea, food, dogs, islands, events, celebrations and a seriously photogenic tall ship.

We’re a small, hands-on team, which means interns won’t just be watching from the sidelines. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved, contribute ideas and create real content that actually gets published.

If you'd rather be out shooting a Reel on a boat than sitting at a desk wondering what to post — you’ll probably fit right in. 

About the Role

Royal Albatross is looking for a creative, energetic and social-media-savvy Content Creator Intern to join our team!

This is not an internship where you'll be sitting at a desk all day. You'll be working closely with our Partnerships & Experiences team to create engaging content across our different experiences — from sailing onboard our luxury tall ship and island adventures to dining experiences, special events and even our dog-friendly cruises!

We're looking for someone who enjoys shooting, editing and creating content, understands what works on Instagram and TikTok, and isn't afraid to experiment with new ideas.

What You'll Be Doing

• Shoot photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels and other social platforms
• Create short-form videos and engaging social media content
• Edit videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing tools
• Brainstorm creative content ideas, hooks and concepts
• Attend selected cruises, events and activations to capture content
• Create behind-the-scenes and lifestyle content
• Spot social media trends and adapt them to the Royal Albatross brand
• Help showcase our different experiences including:
  • Royal Albatross sailing experiences
  • Breakfast Adventure
  • Sunset Dinner Cruise
  • Albatross Island Restaurant
  • Island hopping & speedboat adventures
  • Dog-friendly experiences
  • Weddings, corporate events and special activations
• Occasionally appear in content if you're comfortable doing so

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience — we care more about creativity, initiative and your eye for content.

Ideally, you are:

• Currently studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Design or a related field
• Comfortable shooting videos using a smartphone
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends
• Able to edit short-form videos
• Creative and full of ideas
• Independent and willing to take initiative
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• Happy to occasionally work around cruise/event schedules, including some weekends
• A bonus if you love travel, food, lifestyle content, animals or dogs!

What You'll Get

This internship gives you the opportunity to create content for a unique tourism and lifestyle experience in Singapore— not just another office or corporate brand.

You'll get hands-on experience creating real content for live campaigns, events and experiences, while building a strong portfolio across hospitality, tourism, F&B, events and lifestyle marketing.

You'll also get plenty of opportunities to be out experiencing what you're creating content about — including sailing, island hopping, events and some very photogenic four-legged guests.
