Oakwood & Drehem Capital is a Singapore-based boutique corporate finance and M&A advisory firm serving clients across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Our services include mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt fundraising, financial due diligence, financial modelling and valuation, private credit, pre-IPO and capital markets advisory, business restructuring, and regional market expansion.
Interns will work closely with the team across financial analysis, business research, client projects and day-to-day advisory assignments. The role is designed to provide broad, practical exposure rather than focus solely on one transaction type.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct company, industry and market research to support a range of corporate finance, strategic and transaction-related assignments, including M&A where relevant.
• Identify and research potential buyers, investors, strategic partners and acquisition targets.
• Assist to review financial statements, management accounts, business plans and other company information.
• Assist with financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling and comparable-company analysis.
• Support the preparation of company profiles, investment teasers, pitch decks and transaction materials.
• Assist with due diligence, data-room management and the organisation of transaction documents.
• Prepare meeting notes, project updates and follow-up action items.
• Support coordination with clients, investors, lenders and other professional advisers.
• Undertake other analytical, research and transaction-related assignments, as well as general administrative tasks, as required.

Candidate Requirements
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or another analytical discipline.
• Strong academic performance, preferably at least Second Upper Honours or equivalent.
• Good understanding of financial statements and fundamental finance and accounting concepts.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Prior experience in finance, accounting, audit, research, consulting, corporate advisory or financial analysis would be advantageous.
• Mandarin-speaking applicants are welcome. Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage when communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.
•Must be able to work from our Singapore office on the agreed working days.

Working Arrangement Expectations
Full-Time Internship
Suitable for candidates who can commit on a full-time basis for 2 to 3 months.


Part-Time Internship
The duration is flexible. However, part-time interns must be able to attend work for full working days on their agreed workdays. Arrangements involving only 2 to 3 working hours per day are not suitable for this role.
