Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking an Editorial intern who will primarily be gathering information and research before ideating and pitching them to our editors. You will get to write different types of articles such as perspectives, listicles, reviews, and news posts. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship.

 

What you will do:

  • Ideate and pitch high-quality long-form and short-form articles to editors
  • Write articles that aligns with the company's brand and tone, including perspectives, listicles, reviews, and news posts
  • Gather information, fact check, and write digestible articles in a compelling and balanced manner
  • Assist with photo sourcing and market research to enhance articles
  • May attend events, tastings, and other out-of-office work to support the creation of articles

 

The successful candidate should have:

  • Possess or currently studying for a Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications Studies or equivalent
  • Strong command of English and able to articulate points concisely and coherently when writing 
  • Versatile and able to write well under pressure and meet tight deadlines 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Pleasant and professional disposition, to represent the company professionally at all times
  • Meticulous and good eye for content/trending topics
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship
