PV Doctor is a spin-off from the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), commercialising over 15 years of research in PV system performance across diverse climates and operating conditions. The company focuses on maximising energy yield and identifying preventable generation losses in both well-performing and underperforming solar PV assets.
Today, PV Doctor monitors and analyses more than 2 GWp of solar PV assets across over 2,000 sites in 22 countries. The platform combines AI-driven analytics, satellite-derived irradiance assessment, thermal inspection analytics, and operational benchmarking to support continuous performance optimisation, early anomaly detection, and engineering-based diagnostics.
Beyond monitoring and analytics, PV Doctor supports asset owners in rectifying underperforming systems and implementing operational improvement strategies to maximise long-term energy yield, reliability, and return on investment. The company’s mission is to ensure that every signed-up PV system operates at its optimum performance level through advanced analytics, engineering expertise, and actionable operational insights.
