Job Description

Trinax is looking for a Sales & Business Development Intern to support our Sales and Business Development team in identifying opportunities, tracking market movements, supporting client engagement, and driving business growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, resourceful, commercially curious, and interested in sales, partnerships, market research, and client engagement.

You will work closely with the Sales and Business Development team to identify opportunities, support lead generation efforts, follow up on sales opportunities, and assist in driving smaller business opportunities from enquiry to closure.


Key Responsibilities:

• Hunt and track tender opportunities from government and private sector platforms

• Research upcoming exhibitions, conferences, networking sessions, and industry events relevant to Trinax’s business

• Support the Sales and Business Development team in identifying potential clients, industries, and partnership opportunities

• Assist in tracking and coordinating sales opportunities and follow-up actions

• Conduct follow-up with clients and prospects for smaller sales opportunities and enquiries

• Support quotation follow-ups, meeting coordination, and opportunity updates

• Assist in handling smaller “bread & butter” sales opportunities under guidance from the Sales and Business Development team

• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities

• Assist in preparing sales materials, credentials, references, and supporting information for proposals

• Maintain organised tracking records and reporting updates for opportunities and business activities

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks

• Interested in sales, business development, partnerships, and market trends

• Comfortable speaking with clients and following up on opportunities

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving environment


Bonus:

• Familiarity with tender portals or business research platforms

• Interest in experiential design, digital solutions, AI, or technology industries

• Confidence in communication and client coordination
