Storybots Asia is an independent Singapore-based production company specialising in premium storytelling for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. Since its inception in 2018, the company has produced a diverse slate of scripted series, documentaries, and branded content, working with partners such as Mediacorp and the National Heritage Board.
With a strong focus on high quality content, Storybots Asia brings together creative and production expertise to develop and deliver high-quality projects from concept through to post-production. The company is known for its collaborative approach, combining cinematic storytelling with efficient production workflows to create content that resonates across audiences and platforms.
At its core, Storybots Asia is driven by a passion for meaningful storytelling - crafting stories that are emotionally engaging, culturally rooted, and relevant to today’s audiences.
We are offering internships to students who are looking to gain first-hand experiences working on high quality creative content that will be produced for broadcast networks and digital platforms. Interns will have the opportunity to be a part of the following processes:
Pre-production: Scheduling, logistics, casting
Production: Assisting Director or Producer on set, helping to ensure smooth management of shoots, talent management, taking behind-the-scenes photos and videos
Post-production: Basic editing of images and vidoes, data wrangling
Social media: Managing and updating company's social media accounts, crafting engaging posts, writing captions for posts
Creative: Be part of the storytelling process by contributing ideas that shape our content
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a strong command of English, written and spoken
- Have interest in social media trends and television/ OTT programmes
- Be able to take initiative and work independently and in a team as required
- Be proactive in not waiting for instructions/ tasks and updating on progress of their work
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to solve problems quickly and escalate to department heads when required
- Take responsibility and accountability for their work
- Be respectful towards all team members, no matter their role
- Willing to work on content that is not in their native language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
- Proficiency in Adobe applications will be advantageous
The internship programme will be crafted with the interests/ requirements of the intern in mind.
