Role Overview
As a Producer at Koocester, you will oversee the end-to-end production of video content across multiple industries. You’ll shape stories, manage shoots, and ensure each piece of content is engaging, well-structured, and aligned with Koocester’s brand.
This role suits someone who is both creative and operational, and comfortable working in fast-paced, real-world shoot environments.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production
- Develop content ideas and episode structures for interviews and features
- Research guests and industries (property, business, automotive, food, finance)
- Coordinate schedules, locations, and shoot logistics
- Prepare shoot briefs, talking points, and production plans
Production
- Lead and manage on-site shoots
- Guide interviews to capture natural, insightful conversations
- Ensure smooth shoot flow, timing, and quality control
- Act as the main liaison between host, guests, and crew
Post-Production
- Collaborate with editors to shape compelling final cuts
- Review edits and provide clear creative direction
- Ensure consistency in storytelling, pacing, and brand tone
Content Strategy
- Understand short-form platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
- Identify formats and topics that perform well
- Help refine content for audience retention and clarity
Requirements
- Experience in video/content production or media-related roles
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident working with diverse guests across industries
- Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgement
- Familiarity with social media and short-form content
- Willing to be on-site for shoots across Singapore
Nice to Have
- Experience producing interview-based or documentary-style content
- Exposure to lifestyle, business, or finance content
- Understanding of post-production workflows and content analytics
