Job Description

 

To support the procurement function by delivering and automating a procurement indicator tool for internal stakeholders. This tool will provide spend analysis and compliance indicators to drive efficiency and informed decision-making within the team.

Key Deliverables:

  • Develop a set of procurement indicator reports using Power BI or other recommended visualization tools.
  • Assist in data collection, cleansing, and integration for accurate reporting.
  • Support automation initiatives to streamline procurement reporting processes.
  • Provide insights from spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and compliance gaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Collect, validate, and analyze procurement data to generate meaningful insights.
  • Dashboard Development:
    Design and implement dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Process Automation:
    Assist in automating procurement reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Support:
    Collaborate with procurement managers and other teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable outputs.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
    Help track procurement compliance indicators and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Provide User Training
    After the development of the dashboard, conduct training for the procurement team to ensure they can use it effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and spend analysis.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
    • Proficiency in Power BI or other BI tools for Dashboard creation.
    • Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction.
    • Basic understanding of Python for data automation and analysis (e.g., pandas, data cleaning).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
