Founded in 2018, ZERRIN is a media platform and marketplace with sustainability and its core. A one-stop destination, we connect citizens with the best in creative, conscious independent brands from Asia through our online and offline stores, while plugging an information gap around sustainable consumption through content and events. We also strive to empower next-gen design talent across the region through our various offerings (membership, agency, media) to help them grow their network, visibility and connections.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to support our retail and marketing operations.
This role is perfect for an individual who is detail orientated yet has a creative streak. You should be a confident communicator, and a genuine interest in sustainability is a must. Knowledge of basic SEO, Canva or Shopify is not a requirement but a big bonus. You’ll also get the chance to assist on creative projects for our agency, ZERRIN STUDIO.
Role responsibilities include:
RETAIL
- Helping to answer and assist with customer enquiries in-store and online
- E-commerce fulfilment (shipping, packing or overseeing order fulfilment)
- Supporting founder with brand on boarding process
- Product, description uploading and product SEO
- Helping to collate weekly retail newsletter
- Support with inventory management and stock updating
- Supporting visual merchandising alongside founder
MARKETING
- Scheduling content for ZERRIN across key social media channels
- Scheduling content for ZERRIN STUDIO across key social media channels
- Assisting on photoshoots for ZERRIN or our agency clients
- Administrative support for events and retail partners
YOU SHOULD:
- Be driven, resourceful and able to work independently
- Have a keen interest in design, fashion, beauty, sustainability
- Understand that details matter
- Have a creative streak and a way with words
- Be comfortable with multi-tasking
- Commit to working a 5 day week, one being a Saturday or Sunday (in-store)
You will be fully supported in training for any new software/programs. This role presents an amazing opportunity to network with sustainable brands and industry leaders from the Asia region and beyond, and to hone your skills in a busy startup environment.
